Ashraf Ibrahim is a Principal Scientist in Analytical Development at Moderna since February 2022, bringing substantial expertise in analytical and natural products chemistry. Previously, Ashraf held the role of Principal Scientist at LifeMine Therapeutics and was instrumental in developing a novel metabolomic technology platform for the discovery of secondary metabolites during a tenure at McMaster University as a PhD Graduate Student. Earlier experience includes managerial and specialist roles at Thallion Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Ecopia Biosciences Inc., where Ashraf focused on the discovery of bioactive natural products and the development of clinical candidates, including an anticancer agent. Ashraf holds a PhD in Analytical and Natural Products Chemistry from McMaster University and a BSc in Chemistry from Concordia University.
