Chris Thomas, PhD, is currently a Scientist in Pathology at Moderna since April 2023. Previously, Chris served as a PhD Candidate at Boston University from September 2016 to November 2022, where research focused on the roles of ion channels and pumps in the patterning and morphogenesis of developing embryos, revealing novel connections between biophysical status and gene expression control during embryogenesis. Chris holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Whitworth University.
