Jon Penterman is currently the Head of Genomics Analytics Innovation at Moderna, following a role as Associate Director at CRISPR Therapeutics from 2017 to 2022, where they built and supervised a high-performing genomics lab. Previously, they held positions as a Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Biomicro Center and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington. Jon earned a PhD in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley, after obtaining a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
