Laura Walker is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of translational research and immunology. Currently serving as Executive Director of Translational Research & Immunology and Head of ID Biotherapeutic Discovery & Engineering at Moderna since March 2023, Laura previously held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Adagio Therapeutics from April 2020 to March 2023. Prior roles at Adimab included various leadership positions in Antibody Sciences from May 2012 to December 2021. Laura began her research career at The Scripps Research Institute as a Graduate Student from September 2007 to August 2011, isolating and characterizing broadly neutralizing antibodies against HIV. Laura obtained a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Scripps Research and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
