Michael Deci is a Senior Scientist in Next Generation Biotherapeutics at Moderna since October 2020, focusing on antibody discovery, engineering, and development within various therapeutic areas, including immuno-oncology, autoimmunity, and infectious diseases. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Scientist I in antibody discovery at Elevian, Inc. and conducted research as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University at Buffalo, where significant contributions included developing novel protein-based and nano-scale therapeutics for cancer treatment. Michael holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The College at Brockport, State University of New York.
