Mitchell Johnson

Mitchell Johnson, MSEM, is an accomplished supply chain professional with extensive experience in drug substance planning and management at Moderna since January 2019. As Associate Director, Supply Chain Planning, and previously as Senior Manager, Drug Substance, Mitchell has successfully managed end-to-end supply planning, supporting various product launch timelines and stakeholder relationships. Significant contributions include leading the Global DS network standup, guiding Master Scheduling for Moderna's clinical portfolio, and driving multi-year ERP transformations. Prior experience at Pfizer involved capital project management and continuous improvement initiatives. Mitchell holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University.
