Stephen Schrantz, MD, is an infectious diseases physician and clinical trial specialist with extensive clinical experience in managing infectious diseases in both adults and children. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Development at Moderna, they focus on the development of a novel mRNA vaccine for Norovirus while also being an active educator. Previously, they held positions as Medical Director at ICON plc and Sr. Medical Director at IQVIA, contributing to protocol development for major clinical trials involving HIV and COVID-19. Stephen completed their Doctor of Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and earned a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Chicago.
