In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Energie Data Services Nederland (EDSN) B.V., where they aided in a complex migration away from EC2, GitHub, Jenkins & Java 11, onto EKS, GitLab CI and Java 17. In 2023, they began working as a Staff Software Engineer at Moderne, Inc.

Tim te Beek completed their high school education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen from 1997 to 2003, with a Nature & Sciences profile supplemented with courses in programming, biology, Latin and economy. Tim then attended Radboud University in 2003-2004 for Computer Science before obtaining their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) in 2010.
