Michael Konialian

Co-founder & CEO at Modern Life

Michael Konialian's work experience begins in 2007 as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Jet Propulsion Laboratory. From there, they worked at the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Affairs Officer and later as an Economic Officer, where they conducted diplomacy on climate change and science policy. In 2013, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager until December 2017. Michael then moved to CoverWallet, first as a Director of Product from January to October 2018, and then as the VP and General Manager of CoverWallet for Agents from November 2018 to January 2021. Currently, Michael is the Co-founder and CEO of Modern Life, a tech-enabled insurance brokerage that has raised $15M in seed funding.

Michael Konialian obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School from 2011 to 2013. During their time at Harvard, they served as the Section President and received First Year Honors. Prior to their MBA, they attended Princeton University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude. Michael'smajor field of study at Princeton was Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
