Paul Mears

Paul Mears is an experienced investor and entrepreneur with a strong background in finance and technology. Since June 2016, Paul has been a seed investor at Modex Tech, contributing to the development of innovative blockchain solutions. In July 2019, Paul co-founded CUT Carbon Distributed Technologies AG, focused on carbon footprint offsetting, and has also co-founded Meridian DLT, which manages impactful projects in the green data sector. As an advisor at Howdoo since June 2017, Paul has supported the transformation of digital interactions through blockchain. Additional roles include advisory board positions at Mogu and Humaniq, a board member/finance director at Moneymailme, and extensive financial management roles in previous companies such as Cambridge Strategy Asset Management and Freyssinet. Paul holds a first-class degree in Mathematics from Loughborough University and A levels from Blue School, Wells.
