Ashley Welvaert

Ashley Welvaert has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Ashley began their career as an Associate Attorney at ENGVALL & LOPEZ, LLP in 2012 and worked there until 2013. Ashley then joined Comfort Systems USA, a national mechanical and electrical contractor, where they served as Senior Counsel, Litigation and Employment from 2013 to 2017. During their time at Comfort Systems, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President, Safety and Risk Management and took on additional responsibilities in managing safety strategies and overseeing the claims management side of the company's risk program until 2019. Ashley then joined Liberty Oilfield Services LLC as Operations Counsel, where they developed their role into a liaison between corporate offices and the company's district locations until 2021. Ashley then worked at JE Dunn Construction as Counsel from 2021 to 2022. Most recently, Ashley served as Vice President, Legal & Risk Management at Renu Inc. from July 2022 to December 2022, where they supported multiple companies within the Renu group. Ashley is currently working as the Chief Legal Officer at Modigent starting from January 2023.

Ashley Welvaert obtained a Doctor of Law - JD degree from Baylor University School of Law from the years 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in History at Texas A&M University, attending from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in OSHA 30 - Construction Safety and Health from ClickSafety in October 2018.
