Devdutt Patel, CPA, MPA has a strong and diverse work experience. Devdutt started their career in 2014 as an Auditor at EY, where they successfully audited companies with up to $20B in sales and $2B in net income. Devdutt'sresponsibilities included testing controls for SOX compliance and documenting and testing controls design and effectiveness.

In 2015, Devdutt joined Modivcare as a Senior Accountant/Revenue Analyst. Devdutt reviewed daily cash receipts reports, prepared monthly revenue journal entries, and assisted with quarterly reviews and annual audits. Devdutt also ensured compliance with GAAP and helped track revenues and members by contract.

Devdutt quickly progressed in their career at Modivcare and became the Manager of Revenue Assurance in 2018. In this role, they were responsible for over $1.4B revenue recording and compliance with ASC 606 standards. Devdutt guided revenue accountants in preparing accurate revenue worksheets and reviewed them for accuracy.

In 2020, Devdutt took on a dual role as the Director of Accounting & SOX Compliance at Modivcare. Devdutt led the Revenue department, handling $1.5B in revenue for the company, and also ensured SOX compliance for Modivcare's largest and oldest segment (NEMT). Devdutt reviewed client contracts to confirm accurate revenue calculation under ASC 606 standards.

Devdutt's current position at Modivcare is the Senior Director of Accounting, which they have held since 2023.

Devdutt Patel, CPA, MPA, completed their education at Middle Georgia State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business and Information Technology from 2008 to 2012. Devdutt then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Devdutt Patel obtained a certification from the Georgia State Board of Accountancy through NASBA in 2015.
