Dan Pierce

Dan Pierce has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Dan is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at ModMed, where they are responsible for the EMA Clinical Engineering Team. Prior to this, Dan worked at Citrix as the Director of Software Engineering for HDX, leading a global team. Dan also held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Motorola Solutions, overseeing the development and architecture of public safety radio platforms. Before that, they were the Engineering Director at Harris Corporation, where they led the development of military-grade security and encryption technologies. Earlier in their career, Dan served as the Software Engineering Manager at Thales Communications and as the Engineering Manager at Electronic Systems Products. In these roles, they led the development of communication solutions for special forces and managed the development of integrated hardware/software solutions, respectively.

Dan Pierce's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Trinity University, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. Dan also earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Signal Processing from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. In 2010, they attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for an Executive Education program on Leadership Directions.
