Elson Lai M.D.

Elson Lai MD is a distinguished ophthalmologist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the field. Since founding the Rosemead Eye Center in May 2014, Elson has played a pivotal role in advancing ophthalmic care. In addition to this, Elson serves as a Founding Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Independent Practice Partners and co-founded Skin Laundry. Elson holds advisory roles in prominent organizations such as Modernizing Medicine and Sight Sciences, and is recognized as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for SUN PHARMA. As Chair of Ophthalmology at USC Arcadia Hospital and Volunteer Faculty at LAC+USC Medical Center, Elson is committed to training the next generation of ophthalmologists. Elson's educational background includes a Medical Doctorate from Chicago Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
