Eric Tygenhof

Eric Tygenhof, MD FACS, is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as Vice Chair of Surgery and Medical Director of Urologic Surgery at St. Jude Medical Center, Inc., as well as Medical Director of the St. Jude Stone Center since March 2017. In addition to these roles, Eric Tygenhof leads the Urology Team at ModMed and has been a Urologic Surgeon at Southland Urology since August 2015. As the owner of Medical Cinema since July 2014, Eric Tygenhof provides technical medical advice for film and television. Furthermore, Eric Tygenhof is the President of The Tygenhof Animal Refuge, an organization dedicated to rescuing at-risk animals. Previous experience includes serving as a Fellow at the Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. and a Resident Physician at the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources. Eric Tygenhof earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.
