LaTosca Goodwin has a diverse work experience in the field of User Experience Design and Research. LaTosca started their career in 2015 as a Senior Information Architect contractor at VisionPoint Marketing, where they analyzed user interviews and created personas and sitemaps for a higher education client. LaTosca then moved on to Extron Electronics, where they served as a Sr. Software Interaction Designer and conducted user research for audio and visual software. In 2017, they joined Allscripts as a Sr. UX Designer, and later became a Manager UX Design, leading a team of ten professionals. In 2021, LaTosca became the Senior Director of Digital Product at Optum, overseeing the product function for the patient portal and other digital capabilities. LaTosca also served as the Director of Student and Transitional Designers - Volunteer at Triangle UXPA. In 2022, they joined ModMed as the Senior Director of User Experience Design and Research. Finally, in 2023, LaTosca was appointed as the President of TriUXPA. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on excellence in product design and strategy.

LaTosca Goodwin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications/English from Iowa State University between 1993 and 1998. In 1993, they briefly attended the United States Military Academy at West Point but did not obtain a degree. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the "Certified SAFe® 4 Program Consultant" certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2018 and the "Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant" certification from Scaled Agile Inc in 2020. LaTosca also obtained certifications in Mobile User Experience (UX) Design, Unconscious bias, AI Training for Product Professionals, PMC Level I, and Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager.
