Mike O'Brien

Mike O'Brien began their work experience in 1992 as a Mechanical Technician at Verbatim Europe before transitioning to the role of Manufacturing Engineer in 1996. In 2000, they joined DuTec Ltd as an IT & Project Engineer and eventually became the IT Manager in 2006. At DuTec Ltd, they were responsible for managing the IT department and staff, prioritizing and managing IT projects, and developing budgets. In 2022, they joined Modular Automation as the IT Site Lead.

Mike O'Brien attended the University of Limerick from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Manufacturing Technology. Mike then returned to the University of Limerick in 1999 and completed a Higher Diploma in Computing, specializing in Computer Science.
