Controls Engineer at Modular Automation

Trevor McSweeney began their work experience in 2012 as a Workshop Assistant at Rusal Aughinish. In the following year, they worked as a Bartender at Star and Garter for a short period of time. In 2014, Trevor worked as a Lagger at Hasties Insulation. Trevor then gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Analog Devices from May 2015 to January 2016, where they focused on project work and the development of an instrument driver library. The following year, Trevor returned to Analog Devices as an Evaluation Engineer for the summer months, specifically working on evaluation tasks for the Video Evaluation group. Trevor'smost recent position is as a Controls Engineer at Modular Automation, starting in July 2017. In this role, Trevor works with PLCs, Robots, and Data Systems, particularly focusing on Allen Bradley Logix, ABB, and Omron Robots. Trevor is also involved in the deployment and maintenance of a MS SQL Server database on a production line.

Trevor McSweeney began their education at Comprehensive School, Tarbert from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained an Honours Leaving Certificate. Following this, they attended the University of Limerick from 2013 to 2017, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with a focus on Electronic and Computer Engineering.
