𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀
Modular Misfits is an architectural strike team for federal capture and proposal strategy. We work where most contractors fail: the intersection of technical architecture, acquisition strategy, and evaluation criteria and prevent structural losses:
  • Misreading the evaluation criteria
  • Designing solutions the evaluator cannot verify
  • Failing to map architecture to scoring
  • Treating proposals as marketing instead of engineering arguments

Modular Misfits exists to diagnose and fix those failure mechanisms before submission.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗼
We embed directly into capture teams and treat solicitations like constraint systems.
  • The RFP becomes the specification.
  • Evaluation criteria become the scoring surface.
  • The proposal becomes a traceable technical argument.

Our work includes:
  • Capture strategy design based on evaluation mechanics
  • Technical volume architecture and authorship
  • SBIR transition strategy from Phase I through Phase III
  • Commercial Solution dual use

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀
Across DoD and federal pursuits:
  • 83% competitive win rate
  • $22.7B in contract value influenced
  • 13 SBIR Phase I → Phase II transitions
  • 22 SBIR Phase II → Phase III transitions
  • Multiple CSO and open solicitation downselects alongside large primes

These outcomes come from capture design, not proposal cosmetics.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵
We decline work when the strategy cannot support the win. Because most proposal losses are decided months before submission. The real problem is rarely writing.
It is architecture, alignment, and capture discipline.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 “𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀”
The most valuable problems in federal contracting live in the gaps:
  • between engineering and procurement,
  • between system design and evaluation scoring,
  • between what a solution does and what the government measures.

That is where we operate. That is where contracts are actually won on merit without a lobbyist.
