Eric Schweikardt

Eric Schweikardt has worked in a variety of roles in the field of robotics. Eric began their career in 1999 as Design Director at Allegory Design Group. In 2002, they became an Instructor at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2005, they joined Carnegie Mellon University as a Robot Designer and PhD Student. From 2008 to 2009, they held the roles of Visiting Scientist and Postdoc at Cornell Computational Synthesis Lab. Eric then went on to become the CEO and Design Director at Modular Robotics from 2009 onwards.

Eric Schweikardt earned a PhD in Computational Design from Carnegie Mellon University between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed a B. Envd in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1994 and 1998.
