Nolan Coulter

Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder at Modularity Space

Nolan Coulter has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Nolan is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Modularity Space since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University starting from January 2020. Nolan also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Advanced Dynamics and Control Lab (ADCL) from January 2017 to December 2018. In 2016, they worked as a Systems Engineering Intern at Masten Space Systems. Before that, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Ben T. Zinn Combustion Laboratory in Georgia Tech from August 2015 to May 2016. Nolan started their career in the aerospace industry as part of the Georgia Tech Space Systems Design Laboratory, working on the Prox-1 Satellite Mission from October 2014 to May 2016.

Nolan Coulter's education history begins in 2001 at Porter-Gaud School, where they completed their high school education. After that, from 2012 to 2016, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2017 and 2018, they worked towards a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, while from 2019 to 2022, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering.
