Corin Buchanan-Howland

Corin Buchanan-Howland has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They started their career as a Technical Support Associate at Impressions Book & Journal Services, where they installed and maintained physical networking infrastructure and serviced print equipment.

They then worked as a Web Developer at Midwest Sporthorse Journal, creating and maintaining web content using various programming languages and collaborating with clients to meet their needs.

Corin later joined Lawrence University, where they took up multiple roles, including Editor-in-Chief for the Lawrentian, Writing Tutor, Residence Life Advisor, and Layout Editor for the university's student newspaper. In these positions, they managed staff, provided writing support, administered college residences, and handled layout design.

Following their time at Lawrence University, Corin worked at Epic as a Technical Systems personnel, where they learned the M programming language and supported the installation and troubleshooting of ambulatory medical records software at client locations.

They then joined Broadcast Interactive Media as a Web Support Specialist, where they developed automated weather pages, trained others on Python, and created web content for television and media networks.

Corin joined Wayfair in 2010 as a Software Engineer and eventually progressed to roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer II, Software Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and Associate Director. At Wayfair, they worked on various projects, including integrating carriers into the company's transportation system, developing cross-functional solutions for business problems, and implementing performance and development policies to improve productivity and cost-efficiency.

Most recently, Corin started working at Modulate as the Director of Software Engineering, where they are currently employed.

Corin Buchanan-Howland earned a Bachelor's degree (cum laude) in Philosophy from Lawrence University between 2003 and 2007.
