Darya Botkina is currently a Product Manager for Digital Twin for Manufacturing at ModuleWorks, focusing on Manufacturing Data Exchange Specification (MDES) for seamless digital manufacturing workflows. Previously, Darya worked at KTH | Kungliga Tekniska högskolan as a Researcher PhD Student within Smart Manufacturing, where they investigated information management systems and the digital twin concept. Darya also served as a Research Engineer, developing a digital twin of a cutting tool, and worked as a Thesis Worker, dealing with international standards related to cutting tools and industrial automation systems. Darya holds a Master’s Degree in Production Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as well as dual Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Kazakh-British Technical University.
