Denys Plakhotnik

Denys Plakhotnik is currently the Head of Research at ModuleWorks, managing and developing projects in deeptech, including areas like digitalization and robotics for manufacturing. Previously, Denys held positions as a Research fellow at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where a doctorate in Engineering was obtained, and as a visiting researcher at Technion and Vienna University of Technology during EU FP7 Marie Curie secondments. With early experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Akam and a Senior Engineer at PromInstrument Ltd., Denys has a robust background in mechanical engineering and research in metal cutting tools. Denys also holds a BSc and MSc with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Sumy State University.
