Andrei Fedotov

Andrei Fedotov is currently employed as an R&D Engineer at Modulight Corporation since June 2021. Before this, Andrei worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Tampere University from January 2018 to December 2021, where Andrei specialized in building high-power fiber amplifiers for ultrashort pulsed lasers and designing chirped pulse amplification systems. Andrei has also worked as a Laser Engineer at Ampliconyx and as a Research Assistant at Ioffe Institute. With a solid educational background in Photonics (PhD), Technical Physics (MS), and Microelectronics and nanoelectronics (MS), Andrei has proven hands-on experience in various aspects of optical fiber processing, laser pulse analysis, and free-space optical elements.
