Justin Ichida

Justin Ichida is an accomplished neuroscientist currently serving as Vice President and Head of Neuroscience Research at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since May 2022. In addition to this role, Justin Ichida is a Co-Founder of Modulo Bio and AcuraStem, both since 2021 and 2017 respectively. An Associate Professor at the University of Southern California since 2013, Justin Ichida also held the position of Richard N. Merkin Assistant Professor. Prior academic experience includes being a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from 2007 to 2012 and completing a Ph.D. at Harvard Medical School from 2000 to 2006, after earning a B.S. at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1996 to 2000.
