Simone Severini

Simone Severini has extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries.

From 2021 to the present, Severini has been working at Modulos AG as the VP of Revenue and a member of the management board. In this role, they are responsible for building a Responsible AI platform and actively driving sales, marketing, and product requirements. Additionally, Severini supports the CEO and Board of Directors with investor relations, strategy, and company management.

In 2021, Severini also served as an Advisor at 4.screen, providing guidance and expertise.

Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, Severini held two roles at Xevo Inc. They were the Vice President of Business Development and General Manager for Europe, responsible for selling cutting-edge automotive technologies to OEMs and onboarding merchants. Additionally, Severini worked as the Senior Business and Technology Director for the EMEA region.

From 2018 to 2021, Severini worked at People Power Company as the Head of Business Development EU. In this position, they were responsible for business development activities in Europe, focusing on a family-centric AI-powered virtual health platform.

Severini also held the position of Senior Director of Sales Africa at Airspan Networks from 2018 to 2019. Here, they were responsible for sales to mobile network operators and private networks in Southern Africa.

From 2012 to 2018, Severini worked at Qualcomm as the Director of Technology. They were responsible for technology marketing leadership with Telco operators in Sub Saharan Africa and smartphone manufacturers, primarily in China.

Severini began their career at Nokia in 2004, holding multiple roles including Senior Product Marketing Manager and Network Optimization Expert and Project Manager, until 2012.

Lastly, Severini started their professional journey at Vodafone as an RF Engineer from 2000 to 2004.

Simone Severini has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 2000, they attended Politecnico di Torino, where they obtained a BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2000 to 2012, they engaged in several Business and Technology trainings as a participant.

In 2019 to 2021, Simone enrolled in MIP Politecnico di Milano and completed an Executive MBA program in Business Administration and Management, General. This program provided him with specialized knowledge in the field.

Simone also holds multiple additional certifications. In June 2022, they completed the Sandler Foundations Program at Sandler Training in Miami - Absolute Sales Development, enhancing their sales skills. In February 2021, they obtained a boat license (Patente Nautica) from the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti. Additionally, in July 2020, they acquired a Paraglider Pilot License from the Aeroclub d'Italia. In February 2018, Simone became a Certified Blockchain Expert certified by the Blockchain Council. Furthermore, in June 2005, they obtained a PADI Advanced Diving license from PADI. These certifications demonstrate their diverse interests and continuous learning in various domains.
