Martin Wilson

Martin Wilson is currently the Head of CDD at Modulr, leading a team of specialists in Customer Due Diligence at one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech companies. With a broad background as an MLRO for a FTSE 250 bank and as a Senior Investigative Financial Leader, Martin has amassed extensive experience across various sectors in areas such as anti-bribery, corruption, and fraud. Previously, Martin held key positions including Head of Financial Crime & MLRO at Paragon Banking Group PLC and UK Head AML Operations at Barclays. Martin’s investigative career began in law enforcement as a Detective with Avon and Somerset Constabulary, before transitioning to high-level roles in the public sector, including the UK Ministry of Defence. Martin earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Portsmouth and an HNC in Public Administration from the University of South Wales.
