Michael Venn

Michael Venn serves as Group Head of Risk & Compliance (MLRO) at Modulr since June 2019. Previous roles include Senior Compliance Consultant at SANNE, Head of UK AML Investigations at HSBC, and various leadership positions at RBS, where responsibilities included leading global transaction monitoring operations and delivering transformational change to address regulatory issues. Venn's career also includes a significant role at Lothian & Borders Police as Head of Intelligence Analysis. Venn holds a BA honours degree from Robert Gordon University, completed between 1992 and 1996.
