Mitchell Simoens

Mitchell Simoens is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in full-stack development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Director of Engineering, Principal Consultant, and Senior Fullstack Engineer at Modus Create since September 2017, Mitchell specializes in PHP and JavaScript, with a preference for Node JS and frameworks like Ext JS, React, and Angular. Prior to this role, Mitchell operated as a self-employed contractor since January 2000, and held significant positions at Sencha, including Senior Software Engineer, where oversight of key projects such as the Sencha Support Portal and Sencha Metrics Dashboard was provided. Additional experience includes leading development projects at ASG and Cosmic-I LLC, as well as managerial roles in customer support at QuikTrip and Sam's Club.
