Dorota Maskowicz

Dorota Maskowicz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 1998, they began their career as a Business and Systems Analyst at Future Works / Software Futures, where they worked until 2001. Following this, from 2001 to 2004, they served as a Business and Systems Analyst at Tilos. Dorota then joined Face Technologies as a Senior Business and Systems Analyst from 2004 to 2007.

In 2007, Dorota joined Standard Bank as a Lead Business Analyst until 2009. During their time at Standard Bank, they led and mentored a team of junior business analysts, playing a crucial role in their growth and development.

From 2009 to 2013, they worked as the Director and Lead Analyst at THE SILVER ANALYST LIMITED, where they were involved in various projects including core banking transformation, mobile money launch and development, and business intelligence projects.

In 2013, they joined Vodafone Global Enterprise as a Senior Business Analyst, focusing on the migration of M-Pesa markets to an open API-centric system and the implementation of a new AML platform. After that, they joined Vodacom in 2018 as an Agile Product Owner / Business Analyst, responsible for payments processing and financial reconciliation.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked at PortX (previously ModusBox) as a Product Manager, managing various products and working on strategic projects. Most recently, they joined DVT / Luno in 2021 as an Agile Delivery Lead, specializing in cryptocurrencies.

In 2023, Dorota is set to join Mesh.trade as an Agile Delivery Lead / Product Owner.

Dorota Maskowicz pursued their education from 1989 to 1994 at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification as an Agile Product Owner from iQ Business Solutions in December 2018.
