Fernando Troya has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Architect at PortX since 2014. Fernando initially worked for ModusBox before it spun off into PortX in September 2022, where they were involved in enterprise integration using Camel & Mule technologies for B2B solutions.

Before joining PortX, Troya worked as a Software Architect at Fluxit from 2011 to 2016.

Fernando also had experience as an IT Contractor at New Zealand Wood Products Limited from 2014 to 2015.

Prior to that, Troya served as a Technical Team Lead at Sabre Holdings from 2010 to 2011, and as a Senior Developer at lastminute.com from 2009 to 2010.

Fernando'searliest work experience was as a Developer at LIFIA, where they worked on the SNMP project from 2008 to 2009 and on the eSidif project from 2005 to 2009. These projects involved redesign and implementation of websites, National budget elaboration and management, and the use of various technologies such as Java, Spring framework, Hibernate, and more.

Fernando Troya completed their education from 1995 to 2000 at Instituto Primo Capraro, where they obtained a degree in Bachiller Mercantil. Fernando then pursued further education at Universidad Nacional de La Plata from 2001 to 2022, earning a degree in Licenciado en Sistemas. In addition to their formal education, Fernando obtained various certifications, including the EF SET English Certificate 80/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test in July 2022. Fernando also obtained certifications in Learning Quarkus, Functional Programming with Java, Advanced Java Programming, Extending, Securing, and Dockerizing Spring Boot Microservices, Learning Spring with Spring Boot, and Learning Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Developers from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2022.
