Shelba Murphy

Shelba Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Shelba is currently working at PortX as the Senior Vice President of Sales, a role they started in May 2023. Prior to PortX, Shelba held various senior sales positions. Shelba was the VP of Sales - Fintech/Strategic Partnerships at PortX, starting in December 2022. Before joining PortX, Shelba worked at Veritran as the Senior Vice President of Sales from March 2022 to December 2022. Shelba also served as the SVP of Sales at NXTsoft from November 2019 to March 2022. Additionally, Shelba has experience in the digital client executive role, having worked at Temenos and Kony, Inc. in 2019 and 2018 respectively. Shelba Murphy's education history includes several certificates and training programs. In 1987 to 1998, they attended Okefenokee Technical College, where they obtained a degree in Computer Operations with a focus on Computer Science. In 2007, they attended Harvard Law School and received a certificate in the Program on Negotiation. In 2010, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and obtained a certificate in The Executive Development Program. In 2015, they completed Leadership Training for Managers at Dale Carnegie Training. In 2016, they also completed High Impact Presentations training at Dale Carnegie Training.

Shelba Murphy has also obtained additional certifications. In July 2022, they became a Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In December 2019, they completed the Heroic Public Speaking Graduate Class offered by Michael and Amy Port. In August 2018, they obtained a Workplace Harrassment Certification, although the institution providing this certification is not specified.
