Mingyang S.

Mingyang S. is an experienced technology leader and entrepreneur currently serving as an Angel Investor at MoeGo since December 2021 and at Springworks since October 2017. Mingyang co-founded Pixocial, a spin-off of Meitu, Inc., where Mingyang served as CEO from March 2020 to August 2024. Previously, Mingyang held the position of Product Lead at ByteDance from October 2019 to March 2020 and directed product innovation for Meitu, Inc. between September 2015 and February 2019, leading a diverse team of 30 across multiple countries. Early career experience includes co-founding Springworks, serving as a part-time software engineer at Microsoft, and working as a research assistant at Tsinghua University. Mingyang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, along with a Summer Session in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
