Herbert Möckel

Herbert Möckel is currently the Director of User Experience & Innovation and Co-Founder at mogenius since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Handelsblatt Media Group from February 2021 to September 2021, where they served as the Head of User Experience & Innovation and also as a UX Engineer from March 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Art Director UI/UX Designer at REWE Digital GmbH from April 2015 to March 2018. Herbert also worked as an Art Director at denkwerk from July 2012 to March 2015 and as a UI/UX Designer at Deutsche Telekom from June 2013 to September 2014. Prior to that, they served as an Art Direktor at nexum AG from October 2008 to July 2012 and as a Graphic Designer at move elevator GmbH & Co. KG from January 2006 to September 2008. Herbert started their career as a Graphic Designer at qpoint GbR from January 2004 to January 2006 and as a Praktikant at Creative Village (Scholz & Friends, Pixelpark, TAZ) from September 2002 to April 2003.

Herbert Möckel completed their education as a Mediendesigner at Artypo GmbH from 1998 to 2001. In addition, they obtained certifications in Usability Engineering from IHK Köln in May 2017 and in Future Skills for Professionals from ada (Mediaproduction) in March 2020.
