David Babst

David Babst currently serves as the Chief of Staff at MOIA since January 2024. Prior to this role, Babst held significant positions at WWH — Worldwide Hospitals, including Managing Director and Director of Corporate Development from October 2021 to October 2023. At DEKRA, Babst advanced from Senior Manager of Strategy & Innovation to Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Organisational Excellence between February 2016 and October 2021. Experience in consulting was gained at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants, specializing in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Earlier roles included internships in corporate strategy at E.ON and a decade of service in the German Armed Forces, culminating as Head of Military Intelligence. Babst holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on international management from FHDW Hannover and furthered education at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
