Joel Barlan is currently the CEO of M8 Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and specializes in business development, sales and marketing, mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the Latin American market. Previously, Joel held various positions in agrochemicals and veterinary at Roussel Uclaf SA from 1980 to 1992, and served as General Manager for several divisions at sanofi-aventis and Aventis Pharmaceutical between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, Joel led regional operations for UCB and Meizler UCB Biopharma SA from 2005 to 2014, focusing on expansion throughout Latin America. Joel earned an engineering degree from Ecole Superieure d'Agriculture de Purpan from 1975 to 1980.
