Capt Shivakumar Raghavan has extensive maritime experience, starting as Chief Officer at NT Argonaut from September 1997 to June 2000. Following this role, Capt Raghavan served as Master Mariner and Captain at Worldwide Shipping Managers Pte Ltd from July 2000 to March 2003, commanding VLCC vessels. From March 2003 to August 2021, Capt Raghavan commanded the LNG fleet at MISC Berhad, overseeing vessels including Tenaga and Pueri Satu Seri A and B, as well as managing dry docking operations. After a brief tenure at Celsius Shipping as Master Mariner, Capt Raghavan returned to the role of Master Mariner at Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. from February 2023 to March 2024, and is currently serving in the same capacity at MOL Group since April 2024. Capt Raghavan's educational background includes a Mate (F.G.) from Mercantile Marine Department, Mumbai, and a B.Sc. (Nautical Science) from the University of Mumbai, among other qualifications in maritime studies.
