David Kapes serves as the Head of MOL Group E&P Low Carbon and New Energies, focusing on sustainability initiatives such as geothermal energy and carbon capture. Previously, Kapes held various roles at PwC Hungary from 2012 to 2016, and has contributed to the development of low-carbon strategies at MOL Group since 2017. Kapes has also worked as a consultant for BDE Research Nonprofit LLC and has extensive experience in finance and management within the energy sector. They hold multiple degrees in finance and accounting from universities in Hungary and the United States, and are currently pursuing certification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
