David Kagan

David Kagan is a skilled software engineer with experience in designing and developing RESTful API services and data visualization tools. At Circuit (January 2023 - August 2024), David created a cloud-compatible API using Go and established a PostgreSQL database to support microservices. Prior to this, David worked at D3no Data (August 2022 - December 2022), developing customizable charts and graphs with D3.js for users of Deno's Fresh framework. David's open-source projects include a finance tracker, plane tracker, and medication list application, all leveraging React and Express to manage state and connect to databases. Previously, David served as a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, enhancing skills in fast-paced medical environments. Education includes a coding program at Codesmith, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Pace University, and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biology from Queen's University.
