Amy Smith

Amy Smith is an accomplished Corporate Communications Manager with extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations. Currently, at Molecular Devices since April 2020, Amy leads corporate communications efforts. Previously, from July 2011 to March 2020, Amy advanced through various roles at SunPower Corp., culminating in managing communications strategy for the company's distributed generation business, significantly enhancing its public positioning in the solar sector. Amy’s early career includes roles at California Solar, European Directories, and The Pollack PR Marketing Group, where significant contributions were made to marketing communications and public relations initiatives. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University and has pursued coursework in Marketing at California State University Channel Islands.
