Sameer Agarwal

Sameer Agarwal, PhD, is the Executive Vice President at Molecule AI, where they leverage over 25 years of international scientific and leadership experience in New Drug Discovery. As co-inventor and Medicinal Chemistry lead for Zydus's clinical candidate Usnoflast, they contributed to the development of a First-in-Class NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor. Sameer has held key positions, including Director at Schrödinger and Deputy General Manager at Zydus Group, and has published more than 50 research papers and patents. They hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden and Master’s degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
