Shawn Lin

Shawn Lin is currently the VP of PLM & Marketing for the Optical Solutions Business Unit at Molex, a position held since 2008 after joining the company in 2001. They played a pivotal role in transforming Oplink into a leading provider of intelligent optical transport solutions and significantly increased the annual revenue of Wavelength Management. Before their tenure at Molex, Shawn was the Director of Technology at Liquidmetal Technologies, where they helped commercialize Liquidmetal Vitreloy and contributed to the company's IPO in 2003. Shawn holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology and completed their undergraduate and graduate studies in physics at the University of Science and Technology of China.
