Vikas Azad

Vikas Azad is a Principal Mechanical Engineer with nine years of experience in designing electromechanical components for high-volume electric and hybrid vehicle products. Currently at Molex, Vikas conducts high voltage engineering, having previously held positions at Monarch Tractor and Lear Corporation. Vikas has expertise in prototyping, testing, and simulating products to ensure they meet industry standards and has led an electric/hybrid vehicle connector department to address customer demands. They possess strong skills in SolidWorks, documentation, and Finite Element Analysis, as well as a deep understanding of Transmission Line and EMI/EMC theory for high-speed applications. Vikas earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of the Pacific.
