Geonu Choi

Geonu Choi is a software engineer with a diverse background in backend development, site reliability engineering, and machine learning. Currently employed at Moloco since August 2024, Geonu previously worked at Coupang focusing on backend development with Java and Spring. Prior experience includes significant roles at Return Zero, where site reliability engineering on AWS EKS and backend engineering with Go and Python were key responsibilities. At StyleShare Inc., contributions involved backend engineering in Python/Flask and Kotlin Spring, alongside implementing machine learning for content recommendation. Early career experience at Kakao Corp included developing an anti-abuse system and data engineering, while an internship at Qualcomm focused on automated profiling for text recognition. Geonu also served as CEO of Meety, developing a social media service, after completing software training at SW Maestro.
