Hyoung Jun Ahn

Hyoung Jun Ahn is an accomplished Applied Scientist at MOLOCO, specializing in the optimization of real-time bidding systems in the mobile ad market since November 2021. Prior experience includes managing a research and development team at LG Energy Solution from November 2020 to October 2021, focusing on the life modeling of lithium-ion batteries through both electrochemistry and data-driven approaches. Ahn also served as a Research Engineer at LG Chem from August 2014 to October 2020, where performance improvements of lithium-ion batteries were achieved using real-time signals, including the creation of an adaptive power limit calculator. Academic foundations were established with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from California Institute of Technology, where research involved nonlinear propagation in random matrices and epidemic spread over complex networks.
