Vanish Talwar

Vanish Talwar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning monitoring and data quality, currently employed at Moloco since January 2023. Previously, Talwar held various significant roles, including technical lead for machine learning monitoring and efficient investigations at Meta from April 2017 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Technical Director at PernixData, where Talwar designed a distributed monitoring and analytics stack, and providing technology consulting as a Technology Advisor for TeevrData. Talwar's career also includes roles as Principal Research Scientist and Research Manager at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, with a focus on big data systems, and Senior Research Scientist at the same institution, where impactful projects on data center management were undertaken. Talwar began a professional career at HP as a Software Engineer and worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois. Talwar holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
