Fady Gouda is a Senior Data Analyst at MOLTEN. Fady has also worked as a Data Analyst at MOLTEN for one year and as a Research Assistant at Washington and Lee University for ten months. As a Research Assistant, they applied photometric analysis of variable star EX UMA to measure and verify the star’s period and distance within a team of 3 students. Fady also recorded a cadence of images successfully for analysis using LCO telescope networks and utilized Astrosource, a virtual python environment, to produce and analyze light curves for the star. In addition, they compared distance and period measurements to previously reported values and submitted a research paper for publishing in ATOM astronomy journal. As an Intern at Washington and Lee University, they worked closely with event coordinator to plan events for Alumni, visiting prospective students, and different athletic camps that took place on campus. Fady also coordinated events alongside the dean of first year students for orientation week, and facilitated students move-in and registration. Fady'sresponsibilities totaled 35 hours per week.

Fady Gouda attended Washington and Lee University, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Fady was involved in the Outing Club and served as a Pre Orientation Trip Leader and Peer Counselor. Prior to attending Washington and Lee University, Fady Gouda graduated from STEM High School for Boys in 2017.
