Alexandra Morrison is a skilled art curator with extensive experience in prestigious institutions, currently serving as Curatorial Associate for Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art since November 2021. Previously, Alexandra held roles including Curatorial Assistant at The Museum of Modern Art, Curatorial Fellow at Château de Rosa Bonheur, and Curatorial Intern at Château de Vaux le Vicomte. Additional experience includes collaborative work with the U.S. State Department's Art in Embassies as a writer and researcher, as well as curatorial internships at Musée d'Orsay, National Gallery of Art, and The Phillips Collection. Alexandra holds a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Arts, and Master of Philosophy in History of Art from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and French, summa cum laude, from Emory University, supplemented by studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne and Georgetown University.
