Fred Hatt is a versatile artist and media collaborator with extensive experience in writing, videography, and projection. Since February 2018, Fred has contributed as a writer and artist for the Antimony blog and has been a projectionist at the Museum of Modern Art since October 2011. Fred is also involved with Mana Hashimoto since 2016, working as a videographer, projectionist, and media collaborator. Additionally, since 2014, Fred performs and creates video content for the CRS Center for Remembering and Sharing. As an artist at Figureworks Gallery since 2000 and through Fred Hatt Art and Media Production since 1992, Fred specializes in drawing, painting, videography, and photography, focusing on portraits, movement, and the interplay of light. Fred's earlier roles include videography for American Montage, Inc. and a backup projectionist at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Fred Hatt holds an AB in Cinema from the University of Southern California, earned between 1976 and 1980.
